Decreasing Spelling and Grammar/Usage Errors - Nerissa Jarvis

 One way in helping your students to see the significance of having a well published written piece for their audience, is to provide strategy instruction which encompasses proofreading. This will help them to recognize and amend their errors which fall under grammar, spelling and usage errors. Using computer applications and editing checklists will aide in reducing the amount of errors made during their writing. Having done this will present an awareness of what their readers are experiencing while reading.
